Not helpful at all.

Always trying to gouge you out of more services. My mother stopped in there to pick up flea Meds because she left the dogs dose at home. She called to buy a vial and they refused to sell it to her. They wanted her to bring. Copper in for an exam for one vial of Frontline. Rip off artists for sure.

I would like to thank everyone at Lakeside Veterinary Hospital (both campuses in Energy and Carbondale) for being so quick and kind to work my sudden collection of cats in for treatment over the last several months.

For starters, I am a "dog person." However, lost or stray felines have been showing up at my new home over the last year. Drs. Poe and Verbeck, and their entire team, have been thorough and patient with me as a person with zero (ZERO) "cat experience." I am especially grateful that the offices in Energy and Carbondale work so well together. In one instance, while our care began in Energy, the overnight care and emergency follow up care happened at the Carbondale location, since the Carbondale location is open seven days a week. Furthermore, the fact that I am not charged an exorbitant "emergency" fee is a breath of fresh air. These clinics offer kind, compassionate AND cost-effective care. My family and I are very pleased. It's too bad I can only max out at a five star rating. I'd give Lakeside a "10" any day.

I had an appointment to get my cat spayed and they wanted me to bring her in just to look at her. I took the cat in and Dr. Finlay refused to do my cat and told me to go else where. They were not to charge me for the office visit but did. I checked with other vets and he had no right to do that. My cat, according to him has leukiemia but he would rather I let her have more kittens to spread this than to help me stop in now. He was not caring at all. I am getting my cat done and am doing the right thing.I do not trust this vet.He does not have the interest of the cat or person at all. Rosie Gibbens
